Join us for our musical journey of rhythms and every third Thursday of the month at Casa del Ritmo, showcasing some of the best new Latin acts London offers. Our special guest JUAN PACHANGA [Salsa Brava & Tropical], joined by his power combo of top musician friends, playing together over the years in the UK.
A night of the real Salsa dura 70’s-80’s nuyorican style with Cuban roots, the classic fania style, and the Spanish Harlem sound of the Barrio to the classic and modern Latin American bailotecas from La Havana to Santo Domingo, through Caracas, Cali, and el Callao to the London salsa circuit.
Juan Pablo López, aka “Juan Pachanga”, is a charismatic Colombian salsa and tropical singer based in the UK. He started his music career as a bongo player and backing vocalist at the age of 18 in different bands and orchestras in Madrid( Spain) where he grew up. He started singing as a lead vocalist when he arrived in London in 2011 for bands like La Tropical orchestra, Salseology, La Rebelión London, Bacalao, Los Charlies, Son Catufa, Mambarito, Kumbelé, Combo Yanzé, and more Salsa and tropical projects.
